Why should we consider a videography and not just photography?
Photography is very important, but videography is just as important. Twenty years down the road you will be able to watch your friends, grandparents and family having fun at your wedding in their younger years. These memories will always be there by watching the smiles and tears at your wedding day. We have so many brides tell us that if it was not for video, they would not be able to remember what all went on that day because they were so busy.
Why should I hire a videographer instead of asking a friend to tape my event?
At Media Works, our experience of countless weddings and professional equipment is what sets us apart from amateurs. Amateur videographers can often get distracted by friends or guests at wedding, not covering everything that needs to be filmed. Our videographers are professional trainers for wedding/event production. Our cameras capture video in Professional HD Quality with vivid colors and low light capabilities. We use professional audio equipment with wireless microphones to capture pure audio of vows and speeches.
How does Media Works compare to other companies?
There are many good wedding videographers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. With our professional equipment, affordable prices and extensive training, we are confident that our DVD and BluRay video quality and editing abilities are top notch. While many companies don’t offer BluRay, our equipment has the capabilities to produce BluRay Quality.
Why should I consider BluRay Discs for my wedding video?
BluRay will give the highest quality of video possible right now in the technology world. Our camera systems are capable of producing this quality and 20 years down the road when little Johnny wants to see Mom and Dad getting married, you want to be able to show this in the highest quality possible.
What will be included on my finished DVD/BluRay?
Pre- Ceremony, Ceremony, Reception and Dance, usually ends up being around 1hr 20mins long.
How soon will my DVD/BluRay Discs arrive?
Your Discs will arrive 4-6 weeks after the wedding.
Do we get to keep the raw footage?
Yes, you will receive ALL of the unedited footage on DVD or Hard Drive.
Can we choose the background music for Wedding Video?
We highly suggest you pick songs for your wedding video that have meaning. Please complete our Music Request Form prior to the wedding.
What does your staff wear to weddings?
We always dress professionally in black attire.
Will the videographers interview my guests?
We will only interview guests if requested by you.
How do we book our wedding with Media Works?
First you will want to contact us either email or phone to see if your wedding date is available. We will then send you a Contract Agreement to be sent back to us along with the down payment of $200. This will reserve your date for us to film.
When should we book our wedding with you?
Our schedule tends to fill up quickly especially during the spring through fall time of year. We highly recommend booking sooner than later if you really would like us to film your wedding.
When is the balance due?
The balance is due prior to the ceremony.
Is a tip required? If so, how much?
At Media Works, tips are never required, but are always appreciated. You can pay this before, during, or after the event. We do greatly appreciate it though.
